about packaging
orders are generally sent using recyclable paper or recycled packaging.if there is plain clear plastic in your package, it is from my manufacturer and should either be reused or put in the trash.
protective film
some acrylic products have protective film on them. this prevents them from getting scratched during production and transit. if you see what appear to be scratches on your acrylic item, it is the film (nearly 100% of the time), so don’t worry!
it may be hard to see at first, but if you pick at the charm’s surface you will be able to peel it off.
you may choose to keep it on if you wish!
protective film list
items which do NOT have film (don’t try to peel anything off!)

about spot gloss charms
spot gloss charms come with a protective film, but may have marks underneath the film. these can be cleaned off through rubbing with your fingers or a cloth.the spot gloss itself has a horizontal texture.
about liquid charms
the messmer piece is floating inside the charm, his position can be changed by shaking the charm! if you are having difficulty moving the piece, try flicking the charm (like you're going to throw it, but don't throw it -- this motion helps change the position the most).the liquid is only semi-resistant to freezing, the charms are sturdy but please keep it out of drastic temperature changes to prevent any breakage.
about linking / custom charms
info for if you wish to link a charm directly to another linking charm (ie. weapon onto photocard holder).if you have a U-shaped clasp, you can use the default clasp like this. this does not work with any non-U-shaped clasps, like stars, shells, etc.

if you have a ball chain attachment from the squid+octo linking charms sets, you can also loop one in on any charm like this:

or you could remove the clasp and link more closely with the jump ring like this.

here is a video on how to open and close jump rings. In order to do this safely, you can use two pliers to twist the jump rings. please don't try to use your fingers since it can hurt your nails.
about epoxy
acrylic items and popsockets with a rounded finish (ie. splatoon character charms) have epoxy on them.
this gives them a nice finish, but all epoxy yellows over time (ie. a few years) due to UV exposure. if you want to avoid this, i recommend keeping your charm out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.
about phone grips
about laser-cut items
some of the edges of laser cut pieces may have darker corners, this is not dirt and is the burn from the laser.
about liquid shaker charms
there is a "plug" on the backside of the charm where I input the liquid. do not attempt to manipulate / remove the plug, or else there may be leakage.please try to prevent the charm from going through rapid temperature changes / extreme temperatures as it may stress the liquid and the plug.the inside liquid is nontoxic.if there is any leakage of your charm, please feel free to let me know!
